About Las Sendas Golf Club (Mesa, AZ)
Las Sendas Golf Club is a tribute to how well a golf course design can work with the natural desert. This is a must play for anyone who wants to test their golfing skills at the highest level. A great golf course with spectacular views and a beautiful clubhouse and restaurant - Las Sendas has it all. Rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest, this Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design is a true test of golf and has been rated as the number one public course in Arizona by the Business Journal every year since it's opening in 1995. Golf Magazine has included it on the list of "Top Ten You Can Play In The Nation", and most recently, Zagat survey ranked Las Sendas as one of the top 20 toughest courses in the United States. With it's pristine desert setting, bent grass greens and red rock mountain backdrops Las Sendas is what "true desert golf" is all about.

TOUGHEST COURSE WE PLAYED. ENJOYED IT. FAIR BUT DEMANDING

Brian (Manteno, IL) says:
Course was made up of long par 4s, very short Par 3s, and shorter par 5s from the tees we played. While enjoyable a mix of longer par 3s and a few more shorter Par 4s with some thought to the tee shots would have made the play a little better. Would play again though as the greens were great.

Lee (Dublin, CA) says:
The staff made the pace of play rules clear from the get go, and the marshals were the to enforce them (in a friendly a manner). They also provided some tee off pointer on the hard holes. This was my first desert course, and I really enjoyed it. The food was also good an the restaurant.

Malcom (Beaumont, CA) says:
Course was recently bought by new owners, they are putting a lot of work into it at this. During our outing they were Aerating the fairways so it was not as "Pristine" as we are used to. It will be really TOP NOTCH in a couple of years and we would gladly book it again.

Very nice, tough but fair course. Some of the toughest fast greens I have ever played.

Always a favorite! Great place. Thanks.

Charles (North Providence, RI) says:
Blind shots make for a long round. Would play much better if you were abale to see all landing areas, rather than relying on course personnel or target poles.

Craig (Peoria, IL) says:
Great golf course was not expecting the course to be as nice as cattail or Golf Canyon.

Andrew (Johnson City, TN) says:
I was really expecting a true "target style" course from the descriptions given on-line. Las Sendas really isn't as tough as I thought it might be. They give you pretty good size landing areas and more grass than I was expecting to see. Greens can be tricky.

Dan (Newark, DE) says:
This course was a tremendous surprise for us. We had played Dinasour Mountain the previous day and thought that nothing else would compare. Well, we were wrong. While this course wasn't quite as scenic, it had some very beautiful holes. The course was in great shape. My group truly enjoyed it and we will play it again the next time we are in Scottsdale.

This a great course and the staff was very friendly. Although one of the most challenging in the US, it was fun to play.

Rich (Wheaton, IL) says:
Tough course, you better play the tees that match your handicap, or it's going to be a long day. Overall service was less than desirable. My partner hit a Jack rabbit on the third bounce. He's O.K.
