About Grayhawk Golf Club - Talon (Scottsdale, AZ)
The Talon hosted the 1997 Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf and is a perfect example of desert golf. It has water on only three holes; however, the par-3 17th has an island green that you won't soon forget. It offers tremendous views of the desert and surrounding foothills and should not be missed during a visit to Arizona.

Fantastic course ! So much better than Raptor and definitely in the top 10 I have ever played. Great strategic holes. Looks much tighter from the tee than it actually is. You will never forget the par 3's on the back 9.

We have previously played the Raptor Course at Greyhawk and we liked it. The Talon course was even better, the layout is challenging (for an 18 handicapper), but very playable. Many of the holes provided great views and interesting shots. The course condition was excellent and the overall experience was very enjoyable. This replaced the TPC Stadium Course on our schedule because of work being carried out on the greens and did not disappoint us at all.

I liked the fact that some of the help did NOT allow tipping --- this is a good practice and removes a lot of the uncomfortable situations that involve money. Thank you.

Excellent course, price very high, no GPS or layout of course on scorecard so were unable to determine distances to traps etc. we played 6 courses and most of them either had a GPS or layout on the scorecard.

I DIDN'T PLAY IT BUT THOSE WHO DID SAID IT WAS NOT AS NICE OR PLAYABLE AS RAPTOR. ALSO MUCH MORE "TRICKED" UP
