There are three distinct nine-hole designs at Starfire at Scottsdale Country Club -- The King, The Hawk, and The Squire. In the 1980's, Arnold Palmer was brought in to redesign the original 18 and add a completely new nine, now called The King. The result of Palmer's work is still paying off to this day as the entire layout is lined with old eucalyptus, pine, and cottonwood trees.
